(CASTELLANO) Me ha gustado bastante porque, aunque pertenece al universo de Kingdom, aquí el centro no está tanto en los zombis como en otra cosa. Hay zombis, claro, y ese tigre zombi es una auténtica pesadilla, pero la película va más por el camino de la venganza, el dolor acumulado y cómo se fabrica un monstruo humano antes incluso de que aparezcan los otros. Eso hace que el ritmo sea distinto al de la serie. Es más contenido, más oscuro y más triste. No busca tanto el estallido constante como la preparación de una herida que se va pudriendo poco a poco. Y a mí eso me ha funcionado, porque le da un tono más amargo y más seco. Visualmente sigue siendo muy potente. El paisaje, el barro, el bosque, la sensación de hostilidad permanente… todo contribuye a que la historia tenga una atmósfera muy pesada. Y cuando entra el componente de terror, entra bien, sin necesidad de abusar de él. El tigre zombi, de hecho, me ha parecido de lo más inquietante de todo el universo Kingdom. Eso ya es decir bastante. También me gusta que funcione como historia propia. Haber visto la serie ayuda, claro, pero no depende solo de eso para sostenerse. Tiene entidad como relato de origen y como tragedia personal. No intenta meter zombis cada cinco minutos para recordarte de qué franquicia viene, y creo que ahí acierta bastante. Si tuviera que ponerle una pega, diría que quien espere algo más cercano al ritmo puro de Kingdom quizá se sorprenda. Esto va más despacio y se apoya más en el resentimiento, en la construcción del personaje y en el clima general que en la acción continua. Pero, precisamente por eso, me parece un complemento bastante interesante dentro de la saga. En conjunto, me ha parecido una película sólida, oscura y bastante efectiva. No va tanto de zombis como de cómo nace una furia que luego lo contamina todo. Y con eso le basta para dejar una muy buena impresión. (ENGLISH) I liked it quite a bit because, even though it belongs to the Kingdom universe, the real focus here is not the zombies so much as something else. There are zombies, of course, and that zombie tiger is genuinely terrifying, but the film is really more about revenge, accumulated pain, and how a human monster is created even before the other ones appear. That makes the rhythm feel different from the series. It is more restrained, darker, and sadder. It does not go for constant eruption so much as for the slow build-up of a wound that keeps rotting. That worked for me, because it gives the story a much more bitter and harsher tone. Visually it is still very strong. The landscape, the mud, the forest, the sense of permanent hostility… all of it helps create a heavy atmosphere. And when the horror enters, it enters well, without overusing it. The zombie tiger is honestly one of the most unsettling things in the whole Kingdom universe, which is saying quite a lot. I also like that it works as its own story. Having seen the series helps, of course, but it does not rely entirely on that to stand on its own. It has weight as an origin story and as a personal tragedy. It does not try to throw zombies at you every five minutes just to remind you what franchise it belongs to, and I think that is one of its strengths. If I had to point to one weakness, I would say that anyone expecting something closer to the pure pace of Kingdom might be surprised. This moves more slowly and leans more on resentment, character building, and atmosphere than on constant action. But that is also why I find it a pretty interesting addition to the saga. Overall, I think it is a solid, dark, and quite effective film. It is not really about zombies as much as it is about how rage is born and then poisons everything around it. And that is more than enough for it to leave a very strong impression.
